Just a suggestion....

Have you tried posting an excerpt on an authors website such as UK authors or short-fiction?

Or, maybe write something 'en scene' and post for genuine advice, criticism and support?

Or try on here is you like, there are plenty of intelligent and educated bloggers (except me of course ;) ) more…
